Meet our Executive Director, Dr. Dawn Compton. Dr. Compton grew up in The United Methodist Church.

She graduated from Pfeiffer University with a double major in Christian Education and Elementary Education. She then earned her Master of Arts in Christian Education from Pfeiffer. She earned a Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina.

She has served local congregations as a Christian Educator in the Holston, Western North Carolina and South Carolina Conferences of The United Methodist Church. She is an ordained Deacon in the South Carolina Conference. She has served as Visiting Instructor of Christian Education at Pfeiffer University.

She is married to Aaron Compton and is the proud mother of two sons, David and Luke.
